The Mind Body Symphony
Alex Hofeldt is a HS science teacher, yoga instructor and cross fit coach and loves communicating motivation through science. He will tell you these things are his riches and if you listen to his podcast you will hear it in voice, in the way he elegantly teaches motivation through science. It’s very a interesting and refreshing way to approach self motivation.

On today’s episode we discuss:
- Our thoughts & inner consciousness
- The negativity bias
- How science can connect you with your inner voice and unlock creativity
- Raising awareness to external/internal stimuli
- The inflammation of our mind and body
- The mind body connection
- Tips to increase mindfulness
Alex’s impact: Would like to make people think and understand how incredible they truly are, to ponder something bigger and grander then themselves and to feel the connection to themselves and the world around them.
Alex’s Nuggets Of Wisdom:
“The world in your body are these pliable little balls of clay, and that’s what I love about yoga and mobility and exercise and nutrition. You give that it needs and it will flourish, you take the things or give it the things it doesn’t need and it will downgrade. That body is always ready to be ignited into something, into a more positive frame of reference, if you just choose”

Dr Tom, Enjoyed as always the podcast. 🙂
Alex I enjoyed the use of correlation between the science and the positive of your instruction in yoga and crossfit.
I also lose count and just pick the last number I remember when I destress. Looking forward to checking out podcasts also and following along.
Thank you again Dr Tom for another day of the positivity effect!!
Michele
